Brittney and Alec’s wedding at The Manor House at Commonwealth was one of those spring days that felt bright joyful and full of life from beginning to end. The weather could not have been better with sunshine and just enough warmth to make everything feel comfortable and relaxed.
Their outdoor ceremony was filled with meaningful moments and one completely unexpected twist. As Brittney’s father walked her down the aisle and prepared to hand her off to Alec he was suddenly hit in the head by a golf ball from the nearby course. It instantly became one of those unforgettable wedding stories that nobody could have planned for. Thankfully he was okay and later in the evening he made light of the whole situation by using the golf ball during the reception entrance which had everyone laughing.
Beyond the humor there were also so many emotional moments throughout the day. One of the most heartfelt came during the speeches when Brittney became emotional listening to her daughter speak. It was such a genuine moment filled with love gratitude and connection and there was not a dry eye in the room.
The entire celebration carried a relaxed and joyful energy. Family and friends spent the evening laughing dancing and fully soaking in every part of the day together. Brittney and Alec made everyone around them feel welcomed and appreciated which made the celebration feel incredibly personal.
