Christy and Chris’s wedding at Knowlton Mansion was the perfect reminder that elegant weddings can also feel relaxed personal and completely true to the couple. Their beautiful spring day in Philadelphia was filled with quiet moments great energy and details that reflected exactly who they are.

The day started with a calm and intimate first look between the two of them. Away from the excitement of the ceremony they shared a quiet moment together that instantly slowed everything down in the best way. You could feel the anticipation excitement and comfort they bring to each other in every interaction.

One of the best details of the day was that both Christy and Chris wore Chuck Taylors which added such a fun and personal touch to the celebration. It perfectly matched the laid back energy they carried throughout the day while still fitting seamlessly into the elegance of Knowlton Mansion.

The venue itself offered endless opportunities for portraits. We spent time in the wine cellar capturing dramatic and romantic images that felt timeless and cinematic. Later in the evening the sunset light around the mansion gave us some incredible portraits with warm spring tones and soft golden light.

From beginning to end the atmosphere of the day was joyful and welcoming. Family and friends celebrated with nonstop laughter emotional moments and a packed dance floor that carried the energy well into the night.
