Jenn & Mike's Wedding at Hotel Du Village

Jenn and Mike were married on a beautiful fall day at Hotel Du Village, a Bucks County venue that gave us the kind of warm, golden autumn backdrop that makes October weddings so special. From the moment the day began, there was an energy between Jenn and Mike and their families that carried straight through to the very last sparkler of the night.

The property's mix of French country-style architecture, wooded grounds, and open lawn space gave us a beautiful range of settings to work with throughout the day. Fall foliage framed nearly every shot, adding warm color and texture without needing to leave the venue at all.

Jenn and Mike's first look was one of the more emotional moments I've had the chance to photograph this year. There's a stillness right before a first look that always makes the reaction that follows feel even more genuine, and that was exactly the case here.

The outdoor ceremony took full advantage of the fall afternoon light, with Hotel Du Village's grounds providing a natural, unfussy backdrop that let Jenn and Mike's ceremony feel intimate even with family and friends surrounding them. A Bucks County wedding photographer doesn't often get an outdoor ceremony space this well suited to the season, and the October light made every frame feel warm and alive.

As the day moved into the reception, the energy in the room only grew. Jenn and Mike brought people together in a way that made the whole celebration feel effortless, with a dance floor that stayed full well into the night.

The night ended with a sparkler sendoff, one of my favorite ways to close out a wedding day. There's something about that final walk through a tunnel of light, surrounded by cheering family and friends, that captures the entire feeling of the day in a single moment.

Jenn and Mike's wedding at Hotel Du Village captured everything I love about photographing fall weddings in Bucks County: warm light, genuine emotion, and a celebration that carried real energy from the first look all the way through the sendoff.
