Philadelphia offers so many incredible locations for engagement sessions, and Mackenzie and Justin chose two that perfectly reflected their personalities. Beginning at Philadelphia Brewing Company and finishing at Race Street Pier, their session combined industrial character, city charm, and beautiful waterfront views into one unforgettable evening.
We started at Philadelphia Brewing Company, where the relaxed atmosphere immediately set the tone for the session. Before long, one very special guest joined us. Mackenzie and Justin brought along their dog, who quickly became the star of the show. It was impossible not to smile while photographing the three of them together. Their pup's playful personality added so much life to the session and made the photographs feel even more authentic.
After spending time at the brewery, we headed to Race Street Pier for the second half of the evening. Although the skies stayed cloudy throughout the day, the overcast conditions created soft, even light that was perfect for portraits. As the evening progressed, the Philadelphia waterfront took on a calm and romantic atmosphere, giving us an incredible backdrop for the final images.
With the Benjamin Franklin Bridge rising above the Delaware River and the city skyline surrounding us, every location offered something unique. Mackenzie and Justin were completely comfortable with one another, making every photograph feel natural, relaxed, and genuine.
